Has anyone had a door lock actuator go bad already? Front passenger side sometimes locks, sometimes doesn't. sometimes unlocks, sometimes doesn't. I've seen issues with door lock actuators on Toyotas and know all about the little motor replacement or cleaning the carbon build up off of it, but usually it's on older cars. My wifes Rav4 is a 2019 with 65k on it. I've ordered a replacement and will hopefully replace it this weekend. Kinda disappointing to be replacing and actuator on a "newer" vehicle.

I have not read about this issue. It has not been reported yet for the 5th gen in RAV4World, Reddit rav4 club, or this forum. The 8th gen Camry uses the same part I think and no reports of failures yet here.
I have a 2018 Toyota RAV4. Both my door lock actuators failed within a month of each other in 2022. I had them replaced at the dealership. Now, 3 years later and the drivers door has failed again. I feel like there is an issue with them. But maybe its my car. I also have to replace my headlight bulbs every few years
