Without having access to the vehicle I am only guessing and going by experience.


I think the driver's temperature blend door is stuck or the servo is bad. It would be great to see what Techstream has to say. We change a lot of servos at the shop, across all makes and models.

 

My 2007 touring started doing this today.. is this door or servo something I can get to reasonably? What's about average for a fix at a shop? Is there anything I can do as far as procedures, temp up down Rev motor turn on and off.... anything?

My Avalon is going to have the dashboard replaced under a TSB. Do you think I could get this door fixxed and not have to pay labor if I have it do e while the dash is out for replacement? Maybe a smaller ,much smaller, amount to just install the new door assembly and not dash removal and replacement ?????
