So when you select different modes the dash lights don't change and the shift points don't alter?

Adventure has three buttons sport- eco -normal and a turnable dial with push in normal. Car does not respond. Says normal green ECO ACROSS HALF MOON AND movable scale in front.

 

Are you asking about the ECO mode in driving or A/C? There are 2 ECO mode buttons in the RAV4. Next to the shifter for the driving mode and another up on the dash for the AC.
