A couple weeks back, my car started jerking when I shifted from P->D or R->D, and also while accelerating from a dead stop. The jolt seemed to be coming from the passenger side of the car. I checked the dogbone mount, and sure enough, it was FUBAR.
So, I stopped by the Toyota dealer after work last weekend to pick up a new dogbone mount and installed it. For the first couple of days, the engine seemed solid and the jerking while shifting was gone. However, just yesterday, the jerking while shifting out of park came back. There is not much of a jerk when accelerating, however. I checked the dogbone again and it seemed to be in perfect condition.
Might my other mounts be broken too?
