hi my name is patrick and i own a 1989 toyota super cab pickup with a 3 liter V6 engine. i recently lost heat in my truck so i replaced the thermostat since i have replaced it the motor now revs than revs down over and over and i have no idea what is causeing it and weather or not it is safe to drive in this condition? also the old thermostat was fine but i still didnt have heat it would be a great deal of help and save me a huge headache if anyojne knows why it revs then revs down and why i still dont have any heat in my truck thank you it would be greatly appreciated thanks
