Thanks! I successfully updated my head unit with the latest firmware. I have the non-nav unit with an HTC One phone and it works great for messaging, email and streaming music.

Unfortunately, the update didn't fix my one problem. I have tried to edit the "quick messages" to things more relevant to me. But every time I shut the car off all of my edits are lost, and the messages return to the default text.

Has anybody figured out how to keep the quick message edits permanently? Very frustrating as I've edited them numerous times trying different things.

I was really hoping the firmware update would have fixed this.

Hi, I am getting a new 2014 Corolla tomorrow, it has been on the lot since early fall. I would say, it has old firmware. Did you get a USB stick from the dealer? Were these files the only 2 one this stick.
I get worried from update files from unknown areas, as I work in Computers and MalWare is everywhere now...a good programmer could alter these files and well, do anything they know they could do. :my2cents:

Thanks

I completed the update and have used it for a few days. I noticed that there are A LOT of bugs and issues. Voice commands are pretty much useless now in my car and keeps crashing. When I try to play a track via voice command through my iPod, it keeps telling it me can't find it on FM?!?!? I applied the update to a Toyota Corolla 2014 S. Anyone else having issues?

I recently got a Corolla (Canadian) about 3 weeks ago, and wanted to make sure it was the most up to date version of entune installed in it.
After checking the version currently on the first page, and then on my Canadian 2014 Corolla in the settings. its the same numbers and version my car currently has, so I didn't bother doing it.

Looks like it should work fine, and likely wouldn't even install otherwise if it wouldn't work, but again, I have not tried it. I am waiting on the next release.

Hey guys I'm new to TN, got a 2014 Corolla Type S a couple of months ago and I love it. I'm still trying to figure out all the specs and things it's capable of. Unfortunately, someone hit me 2 weeks after purchase and I just got it back from the body shop. I was trying to set up Entune but when I downloaded the app & it scanned my VIN it said my car wasn't compatible.

Am I doing something wrong, or do I have to update the unit first? I tried looking in the owner's manual and researching what models are compatible, but I cannot find anything on it.

A little help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

You most likely don't have the premium audio. Does your head unit have navigation?

Quick question without creating a new thread.

My S premium came with the entune suite. I can receive messages and calls and make the calls but can never send a quick reply. It always tells me my device doesn't support that... I have an iPhone 5S. What do I have to do to enable me sending replies?? Also, can I change a quick reply to what I want it to say?

Thanks in advance!!

Update BU.70.06

It took getting the 45 minutes and the phone before they put the Tech on the phone. Took him 5 minutes to find that the update was in an unprocessed box (new ownership was the delay). He had given me a printed copy of the PDF but it appears to been removed from my desk at some point. As I was going to share here.

Issues I had with messages and incoming call names had been fixed. Sadly it doesn't fix the IOS 8 issues with phone calls, browsing, or a few of the other little issues since the phone upgrade.

The browse issue was NOT fixed by resetting settings for the Bluetooth and restoring to factory default the iPhone and restoring. But other issues with voice extra was fixed.

Apple has told me it's a radio issue, but I don't think so. Bluetooth seems to always be an issue after a major release. My IOS 7 devices still work great with it's latest firmware...

I haven't called the Shop to see if they have gotten any notifications of something to do but I'm thinking that call will be in a week or so.

iOS 8.1 didn't fix my Bluetooth issue either. Tried everything but a system restore (may try tomorrow for completeness).
Currently running BU.70.06 in my Corolla.

Has anyone had better luck?

I plan to check with Toyota on if they have an update to the issue. What version are you using if you have it working?
