Hello,
Today error code P0560 (System Voltage) appeared. My check engine light comes on and no "eco mode" when driving; however, everything else seems to work fine.
Here's what changed:
I installed a backup camera harness to the back of the factory stereo today. It is a plug and play harness, I only needed to ground it, which i bolted to the frame inside the dash. The power from the camera also connects to a power line from the harness. I shrink tubed the only two connections I had to do so they arent touching anything. The backup camera/stereo function as expected. Id think if there was something faulty a fuse would have blown, backup camera wouldnt work or trigger correctly, the stereo wouldnt work, etc.
Here's what i've tried so far:
I am thinking of pulling the stereo out, removing the backup camera harness and putting it back to default to see if the code goes away but i cant see why the harness would cause this issue. From everything I could find online so far it seems specific to battery, alternator, or PCM.
Figured id bring this up here to see if others have fixed a similar issue. I'm not a mechanic but I can usually pick up on things pretty quickly and have fixed a whole multitude of issues over the years. Any insight/assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

Here's what i've tried so far:
- flushing the code but it engine light comes back on after a few seconds. Its also the only code I get.
- checked EFI fuse No 1 and 2 and they appear okay (I will check with multimeter)
- My battery terminals are also fairly clean (no blue corrosion)
- My battery is only ~2 years old. When my car is running it reads 13.7-14 V. I have a voltage reader in one of the cigarette lighters so its easy for me to check/keep an eye on.
