 Men and woman have fought and died for your freedom, everything American is not bad. Try living in Iran, China or Cuba where you have little or no freedom then talk.

As for F.A.R.T. it was good for a laugh

Wow, way to make yourself look like an asshole

As far as FART. There is NO room in NASCAR for that crap. I've been to quite a few races over the past several years. There were quite a few Camry's and Tundra's out in the parking lots BEFORE Toyota EVER entered NASCAR. Besides, what most "non-fans" don't know, nor understand, is that most people do not pull for a car, (doesn't that seem kinda dumb?) but a DRIVER. Personally, I'm a big Jr, Kane, and Martin fan (too bad he's on a limited schedule this year). Those are Chevy, Dodge, and Chevy (but Ford for MANY years) drivers. Toyota just doesn't have any drivers I like or can "relate" to. Now if Joe Gibbs and his stable of driver's join Toyota for '08.... now we're talkin some star and driving power!

I think it's worse ot see a Toyota in any race series since Toyota has 0 performance vehicles. And 0 sports cars. Lots of "sporty", just no sport.

DIDN"T THEY build their name on reliability and appliance look-alike contests? Why race?

i agree with you completely....majority of fans show loyalty to a particular driver as opposed to company of car.....most people dont give a crap about the cars, but the driver....its like rooting for your favorite team, not the kind of shoes or equipment they use

Absolutely!

It's not uncommon at all to see Dale Jr stuff (who is by far NASCAR's poster boy) plastered all over Fords, Dodges, TOYOTA's..... hmmmmm, imagine that

My uncle that fought in Afghanistan, my other uncle that is currently in Iraq, and my grandpas that have fought in Korea and Germany would love to hear you say that to right to their face.

It's a shame what this country has fallen to.

Wow this is quite an ignorant post, which is exactly the type of crap I expect from haters like you ;) If what you said is the case, then why do Volvo and Peugeot go racing when they themselves don't have a true sports car among their lineups?

Talking a lot of shit just to spite the company you don't actually like

Wow. This was a little over the top and I seriously hope you were being sarcastic. "Anything American is Bad?" Just...wow.

But I also think it's fairly ridiculous that Toyota got into NASCAR. There really is no purpose that I can tell. I'm hoping it's a prequel to some serious raced-based cars on the Toyota lots, but I'm starting to wonder. The '08 models are here...still nothing. Toyota did build their name on reliability, and seem to be going even FURTHER away from what performance heritage they did have, so getting into NASCAR right now just seems weird.

NASCAR should just go away forever. The cars don't resemble "stock" cars at all. They are simply billboards driving in circles for 3 hours. The last NASCAR race I attended I slept through (using earplugs of course), no joke...after the first lap I fell asleep in my chair for about 2 hrs. Then I got up and walked around behind the grandstands (it was the Brickyard 400).

SCCA or ALMS is the last bastion of true racing....that and the Street Legal drags held at strips around the country.

Yes, billboards that pay for the thousands of dollars invested in engine development and track time. Because people in this series are backed 100% by their manufacturer for parts.

Also-

Peugeot does not sell vehicles in my country, so how am I supposed to know what they don't have if they don't offer it to me?

Volvo S60R engine.. R: 300 hp/220 kW, 400 Nm, petrol, turbo. Oh yeah, it has AWD, sound like a familiar japanese sports car to you?

Doesn't give you an excuse to be ignorant about racing around the world, unless ignorance is your nature ;)

haha S60R, what a bunch of bull. I'd buy it if you or repinS mentioned the S40, which were actually raced in Touring car championships. News has it they're gonna race the S60R, so good for them.

BUT, you WERE talking about SPORTS CARS, and a 4 door sedan (with or without awd) is NOT a sports car ;) So no matter how "racey" it is or how many wheel-drive it has, the S60R is NOT a sports car.

Nice try, hater(s)
