haha, im getting it faxed to me hopefully, i pulled about 155whp however, not too shabby with an auto tranny. whats that in crank?

I was expecting more than 155whp... I thought you would have at least pulled 180+whp

 

lol 80% gain on a economical head? not happening with a stock turbo setup and a very power loosing auto tranny.

 

That's about 200 BHP factoring in about 20-22% driveline loss from most automatics. Not bad at all, considering it would be about 170 WHP on a 5spd

 

well lets see if my 1mz pumps out 194 at the crank...and puts down maybe 150 at the wheels i'd say your car has about 200 at the crank too.

But yeah the auto really robs us of power.

 

not to mention if you floor an auto with a turbo, the added power really makes the tranny slip. i find it easier to disable O/D and roll the throttle quickly. 5speed is a definitecoming atraction.

What i really love about the turbo is the boost... literally. around corners is scary sometimes, it starts off like a little faster i4 and then just spins tires.... until i let off the throttle lol.. pretty cool considering i never have been able to do so before

thanks! the shop i went to specializes in toyota/nissan so they said they can do the tranny swap for me, how much? dont know but they do really good work.
