New to this site and looking for opinions. I know in the end I am the one who needs to make the decision but would appreciate opinions . Have 2007 Corolla and had decided wanted to get a 2025 Corolla Hybrid in Ruby Red Pearl with ( snd this is the issue) gray interior. Ordered or put down deposit 3/15. Still no car because apparently the are not shipping Ruby Red Pearl hybrid corollas with gray interior to the northeast. They are getting them out West but unless I move ( not likely) I live in the northeast. I can get one with black interior but not gray. My question is whether anyone has had a similar type of issue and also what people would suggest I do? Should I give in and change to black interior or hold out awhile longer ( August now). This probably will be my last new car so I really would like to wait, however, now my 2007 is starting to need new tires, brakes, struts, etc that I really don’t want to put in the car. Suggestions anyone?

I feel your pain. I was looking for a Camry XLE V6 with an ABB (anything but black) interior. I wanted the Wind Chill Pearl and everything I found had the black interior. I lucked out, I used Cars.com where you can search nationwide for the particular model and color you are looking for. I 'screwed up' and it brought up both new and used and I found a used one with just 4,700 miles in the town where I lived. Supersonic Red (well, that was my second choice) with a grey interior.
I just finished a quick search and there were 21 Corolla Hybrids that popped up. 13 LEs; 7 SEs and 1 XLE.
Congratulations to you in getting a car that you got a car! I will look on cars. com
Thanks !

Find a dealer who will actually honor your request and they will put in a allocation every month for what you want. This is the only way to "order" a toyota. It's tough. I've bought 2 brand new toyotas that I had a dealer put in an allocation and they were in TX. I'm in the rocky mountains. So I just took a trip to purchase and drive back each time. Kinda a hassle but I got exactly what I wanted each time
Thanks so much! It is Shane that we can’t get the car we want easier than this! I will let the dealer know I want them to request an allocation each month or else settle for black

Unfortunately Toyota doesn't make cars "to order" and dealers are at the mercy of allocation (whatever Toyota decides to send them). Sometime dealers can exchange vehicles among them but only of they are within the same area (shipping cars is expensive).
Probably your only option is to buy the car online from a Western dealer and have it shipped to your location (costs a few hundred dollars) or travel there and drive it home yourself.
Thanks so much for your reply. The dilemmas of being a new car. I appreciate your thoughts and your taking the time to reply.
