My daughter fill up gas in 2024 Corolla Hybrid and mentioned the gas cap felt weird. I tried opening and closing it back and noticed i can just twist it off without needing to push it in that I thought was a locking mechanism on other gas caps? Just want to do a sanity check here if all 2020+ Hybrids have this kind of "no push required" type gas caps. It does have a click when trying to open but its not a very strong "hold" and does not require pushing cap in (like a child lock cap). Appreciate if someone could check on their Corolla and confirm.

No, all Toyota gas caps (I had 8 different models) are just screw-in / screw-out. No need to push to open. When closing just do it with enough force to hear the click, but don't over-tighten it. It does feel quite loose when unscrewing, but it's normal.
