I finally decided to activate Entune on my TAH Limited but decided that I hate it. It takes so long to load up

So now on my center display I have the tabs for AM FM SAT APPS IPOD BLUETOOTH. My question is how do I get the APPS tab to grey out the APPS button so u can no longer select it?

I always change between the different tabs using the MODE button on the steering wheel and now that the APPS tab is there I have to scroll past AM FM to get to SAT, before it used to only scroll between SAT IPOD BLUETOOTH. Or when I press the "MEDIA" button on the dash it takes me to APPS first instead of SAT like it used to.

It is such a pain.. I wish I never would've installed the Entune :whatthe:

Well tried uninstalling the app from my phone and it didn't work. I suppose the next step would be to reset my radio but I'm too lazy to reprogram all the stations & settings.

If anyone can think of a different solution please feel free to share.

I agree with you about Entune. Entune is the most worthless thing in the car. Do you hear me Toyota? WORTHLESS!!!!! Although it is still in there, I never never use it. WORTHLESS!

Had I known how WORTHLESS Entune was, I would never have downloaded it to my iPhone.

BTW, did I tell you that it is WORTHLESS?

Well, I really like the fuel prices and traffic. The weather, meh. Sports, cmon who doesn't know if their team won or not?! Iheartradio is cool too.

So although its not great, it is absolutely not "worthless".

If you don't want fuel prices with SeriusXM, get the "Gasbuddy" app from the App Store on your iPhone.
I use it all the time.

I still stand by my statement on Entune.

Found the solution for those of you wondering..

Ok finally decided to try a reset my personal setttings in the vehicle settings to get the Entune to uninstall. This was after I uninstalled the Entune app from my phone, also my vehicle on the Entune website, and deleting my phone from the bluetooth settings.

At first I thought it did not work because the APP button was still highlighted but after turning the car off and then back on, the APP button is now grayed out again

I did lose all my preset radio stations, radio sound settings, address in my navigation and bluetooth preferences but all the other settings (display, door lock, etc) previously set seem to have stayed the same.

I guess it wasn't as much of a hassle after all.

Just press your talk button and say "satellite radio"
