I've got a 2006 Avalon coming up to 30 K, bought it last summer. Starting to use the heater now, and it doesn't seem to work well. Have to turn it to 80 to get heat, not cold air, etc...any ideas? thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we have a 2000 Avalon and it is quirky. Same as you my weife says it must be set up to 72 to get heat. I will check with the dealer. WE suspect THERMOSTAT. We have 108000
sorry, don't recall. the first time i took it in , they did not find a problem, but the second time, they agreed.
also, if it's set to heat on the floor, there's cold air that comes in at the upper level, not defrost, but just at the passenger level. Not bad, just mildly annoying...
Still, i LOVE my AValon.....best car i've ever had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
