Have you cleaned your battery clamps and post?

 

New part or Remanufactured? Sounds like a low voltage issue at the starter.
battery,cables,corrision or possibly a faulty solenoid.
I haven't replaced mine but can you jump the started from another source using jumper cables.Mind you that would bypass your trucks switching so it would turn over imediately, so take major safety precautions!
Also a volt meter would come in handy.

 

Does the starter work if you jump your truck? If it does, I would take the battery into an auto parts store and have them check it.

 

I had the same issues on mine and it turned out that I had a faulty starter. Apparently the auto parts stores don't bother checking the re-manufactured ones.... Remove it and take it back and have them test it before you leave the store.

 

Y did you get a new/reman starter?
Our starters don't die the contacts just get gummed up

Rebuild kit is like 25$ I think ask bam
