2025 Camry's have not hit dealer lots so we only have pictures to rely on. I'm seeing really different colors for Ocean Gem that are night and day different. This first picture clearly shows the OG color with a blue hue, which is what I like.

I've seen majority of videos/uTube videos showing dominate blue hue as narrator mentions new ocean gem color. Across the board bluish/gem color.

Yet on Toyota's webpage I'm seeing a different green color Ocean Gem with a dominate green hue. Completely different

Color contrast is not due to shade nor full sunlight. Its as if I'm seeing two completely different colors. One with dominate blue pigment and the other with dominate green pigment. So can anyone tell me exactly what is Ocean Gem color? Seems Toyota's website might have final say and if that's the case I would call color Ocean Gem Green. Not forest green but there's almost zero blue pigment in Toyota website (build) color offering.

It seems like a lot of Toyota's darker colors (blues, greens, and grays) can appear very different depending on lighting. This is probably going to be true for Ocean Gem too- where it appears darker in some lighting conditions and lighter in other lighting conditions.

The same can be true for the Storm Cloud color on the Grand Highlander- in the bright sun, it appears blue. In darker conditions, it's more of a dark gray color.

Blueprint is the same exact thing- In the direct sun, it definitely looks dark blue- but in any other lighting condition, it almost is black.

You'll have to see one in person before making up your mind.

Well, if the "blue" is freaking you out, you can always go with SuperSonic Red (SSRed), which is a current Toyota colour, and you should be able to find one in person today on an 8th Gen. to have a look at, and see if you like.

You're not alone; I was saying the same thing yesterday: online it looks green. On YouTube it looks blue.

I'm trying to find an XLE w/PP package that is NOT black, white or underground, but all the first allotments to the dealers seem to be in these colors only.
I'm not a fan of underground (too flat and dark), so my first choice is Ocean Gem or Heavy Metal.

I'd say either wait until you see the color in person out on the roads, or order one with a REFUNDABLE deposit. Perhaps you could also look around and attend any manufacturer car shows in your area, they might bring one along to display before release.

A car's a big investment- make sure you're happy with it before signing the paperwork.

People tend to forget their monitors probably aren't displaying the colors accurately, unless you have something like an Apple Pro Display for $4,000. Which is why some people are seeing green and others blue.

If you can't wait for the cars to hit the lot you can go buy the dealer and see if they have the paint chip display or book available. It's the actual paint and clear coat that the car will have on it.

Got-rice. Your attached video shows ocean gem color I thought "spot on" I would get. But warning signs started flashing when I went on Toyota's build webpage and brought up ocean gem color. Color now almost seem to have no blue in it. Now I've mentioned I just put down $1000 deposit for a two-toned ocean gem and email from salesmen said color would be more like dark teal. Well dark teal is way more green then blue. Have to wonder why talking heads over last 7, 8 months have been showing ocean gem as either a light bluish color or light blue mixed in with green? In any case I think my attachment taken off Toyota's website shows true Ocean Gem color. And to be honest mixed with dark/black roof I think it might be a nice contrast.

Found this video today - its new. Women in video say this 2025 Camry is her favorite color and then says "ocean gem". Think I might start some contest of who can guess the "true" color of the new Camry ocean gem. Maybe who ever guesses the correct color - gets a new Camry?

1. Light Blue
2. Med. Blue
3. Light green
4. Med. green
5. mixture of blue and green
6. Teal
7. Dark green

Toyota if you're out there please send a "Official Picture" of what exactly is Ocean Gem

OK you decided against Ocean Gem. No problem. But what is "final" color is Ocean Gem? Do you ignore multiple video's of talking heads showing blueish hue paint color? I mean a lot of videos/pictures current and going back six months. Or do you go with Toyota website color of Teal or more greenish - less blue look? Hells Bells - dealerships don't even know final Ocean Gem color and have nothing to show customers. Are we flying blind here - boys?

Well for all you out there thinking about buying an Ocean Gem Camry good luck. I contacted Toyota directly and was basically told the color could fall under picture one in my first post (blueish hue), or picture two a more (teal) look. I wrote back and said pick one of the two different colors for me and reply was "talk with your dealer". Well my dealer says Ocean Gem will be a Teal color so it appears for now picture two wins.

Kudos to those who pick black, red, white since it pretty much straight forward what you get or at least can expect. Unfortunately when you try to go outside the basic colors chart you don't know what the heck your getting on a new model car that's classified as "Ocean Gem". Until you see the sedan at the dealership for the first time.

I bought my used Attitude Black Avalon paint color (218) on a cloudy day. The next day rain all day. When the sun finally came out and with the car in full sun. looked more dark blue to my surprise. (Metallic, Pearl, Firemist, what ever they call it? (Similar Example Lexus Bamboo 6T 1 ) color can sometimes look green, silver, tan, blue, or something in between pending the amount or lack of sunlight. The old saying is . Beauty is in the (eyes) of the beholder.

Like the ocean gem color though yet to see it on a lot. I am almost thinking of an LE...if I would be willing to let my Maverick Truck go but sure I want to give it up even though it does not have ACC (active cruise control). Ford did, in my option, an outstanding job with the Mav's little hybrid engine, brakes and ecvt.

Well here it is Sept tomorrow and our dealers in this metro area still have only red, black and white in stock. I can drive 2 hours to look at one in person... (Anyone remember the color Thunder for the Tundra? Supposedly gray, but depending on the light, it could go either gold or violet. Gorgeous. Then I had a Civic hybrid in Opal, a pale blue but went green or lavender--or white!)

Isn't this the next Gen for the Camry? (Major redesigns?)

I'd advise folks from NOT buying one for, at least, the first 6-8 months...maybe longer if issues start showing up. It seems that recent new Gen Toyota's (Prius, Tundra) have had some pretty serious issueswhen they first came out that Toyota had to work out. (Thousands of Tundra owners are now scheduling to get a whole new engine!)

BTW, I love that aqua-blue color, too! I am a little disappointed in the redesigned Camry's don't look as "mean" in the front as before...I liked that mean look!!

I have a '17 Mazda CX5 which is similar to the Ocean Gem. Wife's previous two Camry hybrids were grey metallic and she didn't want another grey car. Her first car in college was red so she opted to go supersonic on the '25 Camry. Grey interior, not black. I'm liking it. Shown here mostly in the shade but it's pretty nice in direct sunlight.

Had the car ceramic coated last week.
