Hello, I have 2002 Toyota Highlander with around 280k miles on it and I regularly drive it around 7-9 hours a day. My steering wheel last night abruptly started to pulling to the right, I drove home and let it sit. I checked this morning and noticed the control arm has completely exited the housing that it sits in. I was wondering can I simply Jack the car up and insert a new set screw or is there more to do?

The marking on the subframe is a clear indication someone was there recently. Fresh scratches.

The bushing was replaced but it appears like it’s in the wrong orientation as well.

My guess is someone didn’t torque the bolt and nut so it rattled loose eventually. I’m surprised you didn’t hear clunking beforehand.
