Can some one tell me how to deactivate one power sliding door and leave the other working?
I have a 2007 Sienna LE (Package 4 comes with 2 power sliding doors just like the XLE), and the cable of the passenger side door broke, I did a quick fix and I cut the visible part of the cable and now the door is moved manually.
The problem here, the kids keep pushing the button of the broken side activating the motor which keeps rolling the rest of the broken hidden part of the cable around the spool (reel) and I'm afraid it's going to do more damage to other parts. That's why I disabled both doors by the dash button.
I'm planing to change the cable in the near future but in the mean time I have both doors disabled through the dash button to protect the broken door motor and spool.
Is there a way to disable the Passenger side power door and leave the driver side active?
