Barely highway drive so I get about 13-14 mpg city and just about 200 miles per tank. Sad I know. I'm thinking o2 sensor's bad, possibly need a new fuel filter? :dunno: Just changed all my plugs and so far mileage seems to be the same.

word...I put $20 in last tuesday and it filled it to a little under 3/4 full. Now today sunday the low fuel light came on twice and i've put on 140 miles. I wouldn't say I have a lead foot but I don't drive like a 90 yr old.

i fill your pain too, mine is like 225-250 a tank, but here in the DR the oil it's more xpensive, it's like US$3.25 a gallon....

So, some times my car it's a pain to my wallet

start with full tank , hwy 410 miles refill with 12.35 gallons Avg 26.8

This is V6 (1MZFE)

you can't compare city because everybody drive differently.

Im surprise to see how some camry eats up big gas..One of mah buddie got a 4cyl 5sfe..he went from Sacramento to Merced (Aprox. 100Miles) with a FULL tank started out..when he got to merced..it was half way already..Is this the engine problem or the o2 sensor problem??

i get 200-210 if i do 10% hwy.. do all my driving city so i barely top out at 200 if i go down to low fuel light. for some reason i think it might help my mileage when i use the slushbox as a semi-manual(put it in L aka 1st when turning, gear braking at lower speeds, manually downshifting into 2nd when im on a hill or just need some pick up) ive gotten used to knowing when to change the gear even though its auto.

Was getting 320 per tank on a daily 60 mile roundtrip commute into Washington DC. Rush hour on the beltway... what joy.

After a couple of Seafoam treatments and ARX in the crankcase, I'm up to 350 per tank. Hopefully once my second ARX is done, the mileage will be even better.

This is on a 94 1MZ with 200,000 miles on the odo.

my imzfe gets 250miles for city (15mpg) and 400miles for hwy (21.6mpg)

my 5sfe gets easy 500miles for hwy (27mpg). never gauges it in city!

I get.... without fail.... 99% of the time....


1/4 = 100mi
½ = 200mi
3/4 = 300mi

1/8 = 364ish... and I need to fill up!

I get around 23 mpg on 88 octane fuel in a 96 Camry I4 with 192,205 miles on it. Most of my driving is non-highway.

Know of any way I can increase that? When the car was newer, it did far better. I have cleaned air filters, tuned recently, and good timing belts. I'm about to replace my tires with LRR ones, maybe those will help.

on hwy conditions, from the last time i drove long distances with a full tank and with a fully loaded boot (tunk) and a passenger, i did close to 700km on 1/2 a tank driving around 100-110km/h. i estimate, if i were to run it dry, i could probably get close to 1300km on one tank of petrol (95RON pulp), so for all the aussies who might ad a comment, i can drive my car from sydney to brisbane and about half way back on one tank. take in mind, this is based on interstate highway conditions. so that is 20km/litre on interstate high way conditions.

city conditions, i could probably get 600km per full tank on 95 RON pulp which equals about 10km/litre

I'm beginning to be worried about my Camry. I get about 260 miles per 16 gal. tank and the power had slipped a bit. What's this seafoam stuff and can it save me?

I'm getting about 375 right now if I 100% keep my toe out of it. I got a 462 mile tank 100% highway a few months ago. Woot for engine/aero mods LoL!
