My driver headlight is broken
I removed the two screws on top but the headlight won't come out.
What else do I have to do?

????????????? Are you guys saying that the headlight is being held in by the bumper? And I have to loosen the bumper to release the headlight?

It might seem like a hassle, but it was easy for me. I jacked the front end up, removed the tire and the screws holding the plastic wheel insert to the front valence. 2 screws if I remember correct. It makes accessing the final screw on the headlight assembly a piece of cake. I have bigger hands so I couldn't just go through the top of the engine.

Whoa. Jacking and tire removal can be totally avoided. The 3rd hidden screw is accessible by simply removing the screws of the fender liner that attaches to the bumper. After loosening the liner, you can access the screw that joins the bumper to the body... (credits to thebarber for photos)

Once you've got the bumper loosened you can get to the hidden screw.

No............... I changed the drivers side bulb in my matrix.... I think there is info on the owners manual about it.........I removed the battery( you might as well clean the terminals off while you are at it) for more room.......then removed the elctrical connection......then you unsnap the metal wire thingy and you can twist and slide the bulb out from around the rubber gasket thingy....it's a good idea to put the dielctric? grease on the electrical connection
