How to replace lower molding trim on 2020 Toyota Camry XSE front bumper

Noticed that the silver-colored molding strip that runs across the bottom of the front bumper is easily available online for about $100, pre-painted, even. Photos show it appears to have plastic clips.

Mine got cracked when parking, and it ran into a concrete curb.

I am wondering if this molding is easy enough to remove and install by the average person with a few tools, or should I take it into a body shop? $100 for do-it-yourself versus probably $750 for same job, is tempting to try myself, if it is just clips underneath, or something nearly as simple as that.

If you have basic hand tools and plastic interior/trim removal tools, it's not too difficult.

I recommend removing the front bumper cover first, which will make the job easier. Once you have it off, I believe there are two screws and a bunch of clips to remove that silver piece. Probably 3-4 hours start to finish. I doubt a shop would charge more than $200-300 to do this.

Thanks! This is good information. If I can find a shop in the Phoenix, AZ, area that can do it for $200 to $300, then I think that is the best path for me to go. I've learned the hard way to leave certain things to the experts. But, if money does become an issue, then it is nice to know I probably could do this myself in my garage.
