I have a 2014 Avalon Hybrid XLE Touring with 57,000 miles. My Toyota dealer service department told me a 60,000 mile Hybrid service needs to be done at 60,000 miles. This consists of changing the inverter and cooling system coolant. My Toyota maintenance guide suggests changing the initial cooling system at 100,000 miles and the inverter at 150,000. I will probably do both at 100,000 miles but neither at 60,000 miles. When do you plan to have this service done?

You could show your Toyota Service Dept the Owner's Manual Servicing recommendations and ask for their reasoning on the early service.
They know why they want to do early service. They want to screw me. I sent the Toyota Company an email outlining my complaint. I received an answer from them today. They have documented my complaint at Toyota National Headquarters and they will be contacting my dealer shortly. Now, the dealer will have to explain to me and the Toyota Company why they wanted to screw me. Regardless of the outcome I will never return to this dealer for anything.

It's just changing out the antifreeze, at least in earlier Toys, both systems use the same pink Toyota antifreeze (oops, "coolant").
100k for new antifreeze is a loooong time, there are lubricants in it, and anti-corrosion additives too.
Still, 3 year old car probably can wait a bit, you might think hard about at say 75k miles -
BTW - it's a fairly easy DIY job.

Do you have a DIY video that you can share it seems to be more involved with the Hybrid models...
