Going to work this morning road was a lil icy I was driving about 30 mph or so. She started to head for the center median and oncoming traffic. Got her corrected towards the opposing ditch that was very shallow. Next thing I know she spins 180 goes in the ditch side ways, and the worst part it flips over on the drivers side. I am distraught to say the least. Looks to all be cosmetic thank goodness, but we'll see what the adjuster says. To make matters worse we had to take care of a few things so we go out in my hubbies Honda accord. Some jack off pulls right out in front of us and we tbone his @$$. So needless to say i've been in a rollover and a tbone collision in a matter of about 3 hours today. I am sad at the loss of my Tacomas once flawless and shiny body. I hope they can put her back to new again? Pretty sure it won't be totaled. Looks like a bedside, front fender, 2 doors, and the cab corner, oh and a taillight. Boohoo I'm going to miss not having it in the driveway..... Quite possibly the worst is the bucket of soup i was taking to share at work with some co workers is now all over the door panel and front 2 seats. Hope they can detail that shit out or put new covers on?

Well actually maybe I am bad luck. I was not driving the Accord though. Only odd thing about the accord is neither of the air bags went off! Luckily I do have full coverage on my baby though and hopefully it will be back to new in a couple of weeks. I'm heading to the body shop tomorrow to talk to the guys that it went to and i'll try and snag some photos. Makes me sick to my stomach to see it in such disarray though. All is good though, a lil sore of course and lots of calls to make to get the ball rolling on repairs. Thank goodness State Farm is quick on the ball. The shop has already called me and said they were getting the interior cleaned and would have everything shampooed and back to new. Looks like the bedside and cab corner took the worst. Not a single broken window in the truck either. Thought for sure one of the driver side windows would have popped or the windshield but nothing. I'm pretty much uninjured. So I do feel very lucky for that as I know it could have been far worse.

A truck can be fixed/replaced, life on the other hand, not as easily. You are very lucky (twice) that you didn't get seriously injured.

Best of luck on gettin the truck repaired.

dang dude sounds like i dont need to be riding with you in the cold weather:lol:

but seriously though, glad to hear that you're alright... to be in one wreck and come through and not get hurt is great; to have a second wreck the same day and still be ok means SOMEBODY *looks up* is looking out for ya :)

Amen that somebody is keeping an eye on me! I havent been in a wreck since back in my teens. Hell it has to have been like 10-15 yrs since i've been in one. This is the first that I was actually the driver though. From now on if I see so much as a snowflake on the ground my ass is staying home!

dude! screw the truck, you are good right? That is all that matters. Cars come and go, but there is only one of you. Glad you were ok . . .

I understand that are bummed, but I would only look at the bright side . . . your alive, able to type your post and not in the hospital or worse. Count your blessings!

Best on your repairs.

I must be getting old. Dude just sounds like a term that applies to males only. I know, I've heard recently that it's used for everyone now.

Anyway, how you feeling on day 2? Hopefully, you and the hubby aren't hurtin' too much. 24 hours later, well...
