look at the faq stickied to the top of the camry forum, its probably for gen 3 but its close, may need a bit of improvisation, but i'm sure you could manage

 

1. Take off the instrument panel trim
2. Take out the 4 screws that hold in the gauge cluster
3. Unplug the gauge cluster
4. Take the plastic cover off the front of the gauge cluster
5. Slip the new gauges over the old ones, make sure not to bend the needles.
6. Put the plastic cover back on the gauge cluster
7. Make sure that the wires are all coming out of the top of the gauge cluster evenly.
8. Attach the ground wire to the metal underdash
9. Wire the power wire into the rear tailight fuse
10. Put the gauge cluster back in and put the instrument panel trim back
11. Check to make sure it all works( you can do this before you put it all together just to be sure).

Be sure to take the key our of the ignition before you remove the gauges. If you don't it might set off your airbag light for some strange reason

 

I'm gonna temporarily hijack this thread- anyone seen gen2 I4 indiglos with tach yet? I've never seen them personally

you have to get 2 of them or the speedometer wont be accurate. the tach from teh v6 set and the speedometer from the i4

 

yea i just had mine put in yesturday i was gonna try it myself but i didnt evne know where to start,thank god my boy is a genios with electronics by the way did u get yours from ebay

 

my rpm and speedo dont work after the install... :ugh3:
how do i fix it?
