Installing aftermarket radio, but retain OEM backup camera for 2016 Corolla LE

Hello everyone,

I have a 2016 Corolla LE. My OEM stereo is Fujitsu 86140-02470 (139000-0380C101) with 100571 printed on its face. It's a non-Entune stereo system (see attached pic), but my car has six speakers.

I am replacing this with an aftermarket stereo, but want to keep the car's OEM backup camera. Can someone answer these questions:

1. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the plugs on my OEM stereo so that I can see the connector pinouts?
2. Is the backup camera connector on the OEM stereo 24-pin or 28-pin? I've seen it both ways when googling.
3. Does anyone know which wire on the above connector is the reverse trigger?
4. Is the OEM backup cam 6V?

Thanks for any help that you can provide!

Thanks for the tip. I found this as a match for my 2016 Corolla LE:

It's a 24-pin connector and requires 6V, so that answers two of my questions.

Does anyone know which wire is the reverse trigger?

Thank you!

Pin 2 on the 28 pin connector. Should be a red wire on the car side.

Check it with a multimeter with power on. Should have 12vDC on that pin when you're in reverse and 0vDC when in park.

That adapter you bought should come with instructions.
