Is it worth doing

Ok I've search everywhere and cannot find a resonable answer. Is it worth it to switch from hydraulic power fan to electric fan?

Blueeyes, many of the gen3 V6s were hydraulically driven.

I agree with Willy...wait until it gives before you switch over to electric should you want to. Some pros: less parasitic lost (though I'm thinking the fan only comes on when needed, but still, there is the part that still is attached to the motor). Cons: expense.

There is more pros and cons, but do a small search as Will has suggested.

Your fans temperature sensor is either unplugged or stuck open, thats probably why it's stuck on.
