I installed the Magnaflow 19494 on my 2018 SE yesterday. For those of you that are considering it, but believed it only works on an XSE, don’t hesitate. It works and I have the parts list to make things easy.

Everything on the passenger side is straight forward. The system utilizes the factory hangers. The drivers side becomes easy when you order the factory hangers from Toyota. Both, the front and rear hangers go into the stock locations. The bolts are already in the vehicle. You just remove the black plastic shield that goes under the spare area and covers the place where the exhaust is going to exit on the drivers side. You can then back out the two bolts on each of the two (front and rear) muffler hangers and install them. The studs for the drivers side heat shield are also in place. You will have to purchase two nuts (I would recommend removing one from the passenger side heat shield and matching it up) .

The parts you will need are as follows. The cost will be around $100 for everything, plus shipping. I bought them directly from McgeorgeToyota.com. They had the best price I could find. It was cheaper to buy them from them, than Ebay. All are a quantity of 1 each.

This is great information. Thank you.

And sorry, I have to ask... how do you feel about the small levels of drone?

Thx again!
I am not sure I am the person to answer that question. The Camry is my DD. I also drive a heavily modded ZL1. I am probably immune to drone. Lol

The only criticism I have of the system so far is the fitment of the tailpipes as they exit. I can’t get them to look uniform from side, to side. One side protrudes more than the other, one side drops down more than the other.

My 18 year old son says it sounds “amazing”. I am confident that my wife will find it too loud. I find it quiet compared to my ZL1. My Suburban is too subdued.

I will be putting it on a lift in the next few days to address whatever adjustments I need. I will post some pictures of the installation and hopefully a properly adjusted set of tailpipes. That misalignment is driving me nuts.

I am enjoying the tone. Between the AEM CIA and the Magnaflow system, my butt dyno is telling me I may have gained a couple of ponies. Nothing serious. Just a couple. Lol.
