Bug deflector and ventshades came from local dealership... but i am in canada

 

Wow, your car looks awesome.

I really like the look of the bug deflector, but Toyota does not have in the states.

 

Odd, you would think Toyota would have it in the USA before Canada, given the size of the American market compared to ours, maybe a Canadian dealership would be kind and ship one to you??

We don't have the sport peddles ether. I wish i was back in Michigan when Canada was only a

2 hour drive. But why do U.S dealerships and Canadian dealerships cary different

accessories.

 

Ours are from a Canadian dealership aswell, we applied them at home.
Never seen one for the sunroof how ever.
Also have the sport pedals.

 

Hood scoop that is a first. where did you get that Is it a complete new hood, or a stick on.

also what did the peddles cost , may want to see if they will ship to Florida.

 

Hood scoop is a "stick on"
Pedals were $50 CAD from the dealer (we installed those as well).
I thought I heard something about the window rain gards being discontinued by Toyota, so you may have beter luck on eBay.

 

So did you get that scoop painted by the dealer? How did you get the colors to match the car so well?

It works ... (for looks only).

Just like the rest of the body moldings.

and IMHO a hood scoop looks really ricey and should not be on a "econo-box" and I dont think that person has been on in a very long time:lol:

As I have always said the hood scoop is functional.
It is cosmetic not mechanical.
That is it's intended purpose.

Mechanical functionality would require some modifications under the hood and none have been done .. it can attain a speed of 130MPH as is.

I'd like to upgrade the brakes however

 

The top speed on the 10th Gen Corolla is 118 mph as that is when the fuel-cut activates & slows the car, I know from personal experience in the middle of the Nevada desert. This has also been confirmed by several other owners too.

The hood scoop could be made to bring cold air into a SRI if the hood was cut. :naughty:

 

I have personally been in the car and seen the speedo at 210kph.

I don't recall any ridiculous grade of road, but it's been awhile.
