THAT is 100% plus 10% TROUBLE, you are asking for! Your better off educating her on light maintenance...first! TRUST ME I BEEN HERE BERFORE AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN...:hammer::hammer:
i agree. give her my email address and i will personally educate her for you :naughty: lol, j/k. i agree though educate her . teach her the basics and let her mod her car how she pleases.

Call me a sell out but i will trade my levin in a heart beat for a mustang. Sure it sucks up gas like a mofo but i get TORQUE !

I agree that 7whp looks good on paper but for a car that only has less than 120whp its a reasonable gain. On the other hand You are looking to spend about $4-$500 for a decent i/h/e set up , a bit too much for 7whp if you ask me. the only way to get any real power out of the corolla is to go f/i but the kits for these cars are so ridiculously priced and you get such low outputs. You can do what i did and use existing toyota parts to build a kit . I am diverting away from the original topic so i would just like to state that the corolla was not meant to be quick, i can but why bother. Get her the intake and call it a day. The rumble of the intake will make the car sound 5x faster to her lol.

Not exactly, you can get some power out of the corolla even though it was never made to do so. Intake , exhaust , and header will get you a slight boost in performance. Im not talking 25whp here, may be 7-10 whp . If you can get a lighten flywheel it will help your acceleration a bit. If you cant get a aftermarket piece you can make your own using the stock piece, but by the time you done with these bolt ons the price will quickly out weight the few ponies you gained . I skipped the bolt ons and went forced induction on my levin. Just enjoy the corolla for what it is
