I'm so damn excited about this thing... once the weather gets just a tad bit warmer and my wallet a tad bit fatter...

 

It works pretty damn well. I've been using it for a while now .

A few Matrix guys have tried it and were amazed by the results. Expect a few a streaks of water but overall it dries like it says it does and no waterspots. If you have black or dark paint, this is supposedly the answer.

Personally, I actually enjoy drying the car.

Okay, so what's the long term report on this product? I've been reading great things about it.....however.....apparently it strips the wax off the car which is a HUGE nono in my books. I'd much prefer spending a bit more time washing and drying the car while still maintaining the protective wax coat. Besides, I enjoy washing my car and don't find it to be troublesome

 

I agree with Phi.. i could spend hours just detailing cars. Especially my own : ) Mr. Clean does work.. It uses a filter that creates a mist, which causes the water to disappear. I've seen it in action, does the job for $30

 

I would imagine that it gives off the same mist that my $4 water hose nozzle gives off. Hard water=water spots. If I am rushing to wash my car then I just put it on mist and when the little bit of water this is left dries, it doesn't leave any water marks.

 

I bought it a few weeks ago. I used it once so far (because of weather) and am happy with the results. Works great on the windows too. Only thing that sux is that the filter and soap that comes with the starter kit are only good for 3 uses, where as the refills are good for 10 uses.

 

on the information page that comes with the kit, it says that the Autodry Carwash system does not strip wax. The special soap contains something called dry rinse polymer, and that's the ingredient that allows auto drying process to take place. The only thing that bothers me is that it takes forever to rinse the soap off with filtered water mist, otherwise, it is all good.:thumbup: Cotsco sells it for a good price. $29Cdn with full sized soap.
