My '06 Corolla , seat wiring issue, no start!

Have a great older car. It's been well maintained. I'm going to be using it to travel this year and am converting it. It has 235K MILES! That's why I call her my toyota trooper... we are going to keep going! I've never seen a mountain, ocean, etc., so my dog and I are going to hit the road!

Problem: I made a very stupid mistake and cut the wires under the passenger seat in order to remove the seat. Well, one connector I took out, but the other one, I cut. Now my CAR WONT START. It will turn over....lights on the dash come one, but it won't start.

I spliced the wires back together, checked fuses as much as possible...not sure exactly how to do that.

Please help us get back on the road!

MUCH love to Toyota!!!

Did you check for codes with a code reader? Not sure what could have been damaged by you cutting those wires, but if you could find the fuse that controls that circuit and shut it off, you may be ok. You could try speaking with a toyota dealership or a private shop mechanic and understand what may have happened.

Good luck...
