Hello I have a 1991 Toyota Camry DX and I am having some issues. The issues I am having seem to be pretty common but i have not been able to fix. When i bought my car about 2 years ago everything worked great except the rear passenger window, would roll down but not up, did not care at the time so used spare battery and "jumped" the roll up and forgot about it. Then about a week ago my friend went to use the front passenger window and again went down normally but would not come up. I have tried everything to get it working again and read many threads and such to figure out my problem. I have checked fuses, circuit breakers, replaced master switch, replaced passenger switch, and checked to make sure i am getting power to all the switches and i am so no bad grounds or broken power wires. I have hit a brick wall and do not know where to look next :frown:, any suggestions? Keep in mind that both driver side windows along with every other electronic in the car work. Thank you.

Does it fail with the door open and closed? I'd still suspect the wiring harness where it goes from the door to the body. Other thing I've had is I could get the window up with help pulling it up whilst pushing the button, and playing with the window motor toward the end of its life. I ended up replacing the window motor in my driver's door twice over the years due to the first replacement motor being undersized. Payed about $45ish at local auto parts store. Try RockAuto.com

There has to be enough resistance on the UP side of the circuit to keep them from rolling up. Like 66conv6 said, pinched wires in the door jamb area or perhaps a burned connector. I would inspect the connectors and resistance at the pass kick panel to both pass doors. I'll find all the connectors, locations, and splices for you. Just give me a day to work it all up.
