Oh-No. Need some help

I went up north to the cottage this weekend(still here). I was touring arround Lindsay where I grew up and snapped my timing belt. Now ive got till 2moro to fix it. I have some help, but how do I line up all the gears? do the dots on my stock gears, line up with the vertical lines on the inside of the gear cover? Or am I gonna have to pull of my vavle covers?

Hey do you go to Lindsay often? I might be going there in June for a weekend.

ya I grew up there. Ill be here next weekend for sure, but ya all my boy's are still here.

We should hook up. I might be going up there for my gf's family reunion. She isn't too keen on hanging around them for too long, so I wouldn't mind a little meet for a little bit of time off if she wants.
