Did you clear the codes after replacing the coil and plug? Sometimes, it can take the computer a while to clear the codes and turn off the light on its own.

 

Op, was the old plug from cylinder 4 white or covered in oil? If it is white, that fuel injector can be clogged and a cause of the misfire. Not the actual source of the issue. When the plug is covered in oil, the spark plug tube seal could be leaking and allowing oil to put out the spark to cause a misfire.

Need to look at the plug seal by removing the coil and see if there's oil on it.

I’m a noob lol I’ve never used a code reader before. Am I suppose to clear the codes after replacing the parts?

 

You may also want to replace your gas cap. A bad cap will also cause those lights to come on. Just a thought. Also as said before, clear the codes after doing any work.

 

The gas cap still looks good. I actually cleaned the throttle yesterday and that seemed to have worked. I will need to drive it a bit more and see if that fixed the problem. Thanks

 

For anyone having the same problem, try cleaning the throttle body. This solved my issue. No more rattling noise or stuttering.I also changed the coil and spark plugs. Trial and error is all it takes. Good luck!
