Our mechanic swears by them. They're no more expensive than any of the premium pads. My kid and I put a set in his F150 a few mos ago, seem to be fine, minimal dust and smooth stops. Only drawback with them is that you can't go to a store ( online or brick store ) and buy them. Mechanic has to order them in for you.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Definitely not budget. For sale only to the trade.

Here are my thoughts.

I recently tried Advics brake pads and have no complaints. I'm also a fan of Akebono brake pads. I like their ASP brake pads over the regular line brake pads but both are great. If you do need to end up replacing rotors. I could be wrong but I believe Advics produces the rotors for Toyota. I got mine from the dealership's parts department but you could probably find them on RockAuto too. I made a post about brake pads and rotors if you have some time to check it out. Also, I think it's a good idea to personally change them between 3-4mm. I wouldn't keep them any longer than 3-4mm personally. It's not really safe after that point. Also, check your slide pins, make sure your caliper piston is working properly, make sure you applied lubrication properly, and as a reminder check your brake fluids level or if needed change your brake fluid if you're past due. I'll attach a link for the discount code for RockAuto's website you may have to click jump to the latest on the top right. Best of luck though.

Glad you like them. On our newest Toyota's, I go with OEM rotors and pads from the dealer (they give a military discount) and I do the job myself...the price isn't really all that much more than what they sell at O'Reillys auto parts store.
The only after-market pads I've tried, and liked, are called Import Direct ceramic pads. I've installed these (always with new Bosch rotors) on 4-5 of my families older vehicles with good results and seem to last a good long time.
