Seriously though, OEM is the best you can get for these toyota engines. They did a great job and using what they suggest is the best plan.

On that note, NGK is pretty much stock on mine and everything is great. When I did a search for plugs they turned up to be the closest to OEM without buying from the stealership that I could find.

 

I will not by the Xact fit brand. They are by far the worst wires I've ever seen. I never bought them for the Yota but I have had lots of problems with them. I have had good luck with other after market wires though. The key is to by a good quality wire and not the cheapest ones on the shelf. OEM is definately good but IMHO are overpriced. I have used Autolite a lot and have had no problems.

Sorry man i was kinda busy...but in my opinion OEM are still the way to go....

Are the stock wires those itty bitty grey wires like mine has? I was thinking of swapping them because they looked so cheesy but if theyre as good as everyone says I might as well leave em alone.

 

Yea I noticed mine has 5.5mm wires. Would it not benefit anything to go thicker?

 

I dont think so. The little bit of less resistance would possibly even lower the amperage too much. Even if there were no negative effects there is little chance that there would be any good come from it.

 

anyone know what kind of price im looking at from the dealer? or anyother place to get OEM wires from for cheaper?
