Problem with 09 Camry power driver's seat

This is a shot in the dark but maybe somebody will have some tips. I have an 09 Camry LE V6 which has the power driver's seat. It was purchased new from the dealer with the ECP.

In the last few months the seat pops and creaks on acceleration/deceleration. I tried adjusting the height and track distance with no effect. I took it to my dealer and they said there was a TSB (not covered by ECP) which I paid for.

The problem seems worse now as vertical adjustment sometimes makes a horrible popping/creaking noise along with the original issue of noise coming under pressure from g forces.

The dealer today called and said there was nothing they can do as "something inside must be worn out" *sigh*. The only fix is a ~$1500 seat replacement.

Any ideas what might be happening here?

For me it's just one more issue in a string of issues with my Camry..it's so terribly disappointing.

Thanks for responding. i'm probably going to have to just live with it. My 90s era Buick never had half these quality issues and that was from an inferior American car company.

I picked up my car and according to the tech report the seat tracks are worn (?!) and to replace it will be $900+ cdn for the parts and the labour which is another ~$300.

not happy at all. :( this will probably be an ignorant question but how does a track get a worn?

Maybe if 50 different people drove it often, and all were of very different heights and adjusted the seat alot.
including myself there is other driver and total we average a seat adjustment twice a week (i'm taller, she's short so the seat gets pulled back and lowered when i sit in it; vice versa when she's in it).

thank you for the tsb site.
