Would it be worth it for a guy to pull out the motor of his vehicle and throw in a remanufactured long block himself just to save $1700 in labor at a dealership... even when he has a good understanding of engines and mechanical jobs but absolutly no experience. Also it's his only mode of transportation and he has to bum rides and carpool with his roommate...
