There has been a fair amount of discussion here about the dashboard on the Venza. Some pics posted were pretty bad. Mine has some minor issues (I think I posted before). Anyway I have been fiddling with it with some improvements (not sure if this will work for more major issues.)
I take some white glue that dries clear (I used Weldbond) and apply it to the uneven area. Then work it in and wipe clean. Then take a short piece of wood and prop it (if at windshield just push it in so that the surface (i.e., the speaker section is now level). If the surface is low then push it up by wedging a couple of screwdrivers to level the surfaces. Leave for 2-3 hrs to let the glue harden and hey presto. It takes patience as you have to work along the seams but it has made me feel better. I am still working on little perfections but it already does look superior (except the rubber maid material). Freshening it up with an Armorall wipe helps.
