could it be a alignment issue?

the the top or bottom of the wheels are going into the car, thats to much camber.

It the sides of the wheel are going into the car, thats too much toe.

It would have to be big differnce to be noticable. Has your son hit anything or nailed a big pot hole? (not trying to cast blame, just looking for more info)

It's a 2001 with 160 KM's on and he drives like he has a tank, i've had to replace bent rims and a cut tire, so i would say he has hit a few potholes. I will drop it a a garage today and see what they have to say, THKS for all your help.
