I am going to attempt to replace my car door armrest covers and install sound deadening insulation since I have the panels off.any mistakes that have been made that I can look out for and don’t have to make?

I think your going to have to drill out the plastic rivets holding the armrest to the door card. And then find the right size screws to reattach it.
Thank you I completed the passenger side door with the sound deadening insulation. All went well. I used my Dremel tool to remove the welded rivet heads and used number eight screws with washers
to reattach.
