You could try this version which allows an Android 11 or better to wirelessly connect to a wired CarPlay only car. On the Ottocast site they have a $40 coupon right now or you can buy from Amazon. Either way I would get some runtime on it before the return window closes.

 

I'm finally circling back on this since I still don't have a good solution. A few months ago I got a phone holder for the car so I could do navigation completely with the phone... not only does this cover a bit of the screen but I hate that much of the use of the screen is lost to me. It's just not an optimal solution.

I checked out the OTTOCAST Wireless CarPlay Adapter for iPhone product but it will not work. Right in the title, it says iPhone and I already explained I have an Android. Other details on the product page confirm this, I have no interest in switching, and it seemed overpriced anyway. It did however gave me some search criteria to find something that might work.
