I checked, Quick charge (option code 59) and Protection Package (either code Q1 or Q2) are Toyota PIOs (Port installed option or post production option), if its not too late, ask to remove them, but if production is finalized, the car is stuck with them.
Dealer said they can't take them off (production is already confirmed).

By the temp VIN the car was supposed to be built this week, but their build date is scheduled for 1 month from now on Dealer Daily, implying Toyota is about 1 month behind on production atm

I've just ordered the hybrid LE a week ago (with the upgraded auto-dimming Homelink mirror and block heater, which we need in Canada). Salesperson told me he'd expect 6 months for delivery. But when I spoke to the finance person about my loan approval, he said, "See you in a couple of months!" Apparently he was getting that indication from the Toyota financial services head office.

So, any guesses as to which one is closer? 😆
I completely lucked out. I've just received a note from the dealer that someone else backed out of the exact same vehicle I had ordered, and it's due to arrive in a few days. (!!!) So that'd be a total wait of about 3 weeks. I still can't believe it.

Deposit paid March 19 2022 for an XSE already in transit (I did not choose colours I took whatever they had already on the way - dealer ordered the car long before I even inquired about the vehicle), dealer said it was expected to arrive May 30 - June 3 2022 however, today is May 18 and dealer still has no info about if it has even been built or if it is on route.

How long was it after the vehicle was allocated and built, if you know?
I think it was supposed to be built in January, that was constantly pushed back.My advice to you guys is never believe the sales staff. They'll tell you what you want to hear to make the sale.

Even once your sales person gives you a build date Toyota can and will change that date. When you have a VIN you're good to go.

Do you have a VIN? You can check on the dealer daily website

Just paid the deposid for a Camry SE-upgrade 2022. Wondering how long time can i receive the car. The dealer told me it may take 3 to 4 months. Could anyone share their waiting period, please? Pleasure!

I ordered a 2022 Camry SE on April 22nd (put a $1k deposit) and was told it had a build date of May 10th and a ready to pick up date of about a month later. My salesman sent me a screenshot showing that the car was actually built a day earlier (May 9th) and was loaded on a train car and had departed Georgetown, Kentucky on May 10th headed for my dealer port in Benicia, Ca. I'm excited to get the car as it's my first new vehicle purchase and probably my last.

Anyone have an idea of how long it takes to get a car from Georgetown, Kentucky to the Benicia, Ca. port and then to the dealer about 60 miles away? There are a handful of PIO to be installed before it hits my dealer.

Got a text from my salesman on Friday afternoon (5/27) that my car was ready to be picked up so I left work early to pick it up. 👍

I ordered the car on 12/6/2021 with an estimated delivery date of 12/24 - 1/6. It was built on 15th and I received a status on 12/23 - vehicle was on rail in Timpton, TX headed to Phoenix, AZ.
It was ready for pickup on 1/6.

That was quick for where we were in the auto industry at the time!

Invoice Date: Saturday, April 23, 2022 10:47 AM - $500 deposit. Got called yesterday it arrived. Plan to pickup on Wed July 13 - 2022 SE Hybrid.

Fleet manager tried to bluff my wife that it would be released if not picked up in 3 days. Even offered to drive car to home to complete transactions.

Plan to pickup at dealer in 5 days. Having 2nd thoughts. 4 cars, 2.5 drivers, one parking space in garage.
