apperently skunk2 makes a set of sleeve coilovers that will fit the 9th gen corolla so they should fit our 10th gens. anybody ever seen these or heard anything about them?? a 10th gen corolla of stance works is appently running them

this is what they look like and the link for them http://www.autocarparts.com/part/list/419/ only $258!!! definatly a cheap alternative to a full set of coilovers!!

this is what the car looks like from stance works
heres the link to look at more pics http://www.stancenation.com/2010/03/21/sick-corolla/
whats your guys opinion on these cause that is dang cheap to look that good definatly thinking about getting a set of these!

I agree completely, the lower you go, the more stress it puts on the damper, and thereby shortens the life of the product, and for those of you who already racked up 30K or 50K miles, plan to switch out the struts soon after you install the Skunk2's.

Remember, you get what you pay for, they may be "inexpensive", so ask yourself before purchasing, why are they so "cheap"?

I wanted to bring this thread alive for a second. A friend of mines has had his Skunk 2s for almost 5 years now on stock struts and his suspension is still amazing but that is on a 2002 civic. I'm about to purchase the Skunk 2's that are linked above. Will this be a direct fit to my stock suspension? I understand the expectancy of my struts is terrible with these on but is it possible is my question to just slip these on no questions asked? Im assuming the product comes with everything listed in that picture on the site. Will I have to purchase anything else for these to fit on? If so please link me, thank you in advance. :)

Everything suspension wise between the 9th gen and the 10th gen are exactly the same. The 10.5 and the 10th gen are the EXACT same car just with a different front and rear fascia NO MECHANICAL differences at all

Honestly I wouldn't go with sleeves but its all what you wanna do. Just get GREAT QUALITY shocks or just do lowering springs/Coilovers
