7A-FE 1997 1.8 Corolla. Engine blew up, went to junkyard, all the corollas had their engines pulled, so I pulled one out of a 1994 Geo prizm. Everything hooked up perfect, exactly the same engine. Put it in, turn it over and no spark.
I remember that I forgot the crank shaft sensor.
I look back there behind the harmonic balancer and nothing…. I looked in front, i looked underneath, i looked everywhere. I cut the plastic open and zip tied the sensor in there just to test and still no spark, at this point I think I’m just going to make a bracket for it. Does anyone know the distance from the crank it needs to be?
I read somewhere that prizm’s might have the crank sensor on the distributor? Idek anymore. If anyone could help or tell me how stupid I am that would be amazing.
