Yes, tried different android phones with different android versions.
I will dig into android forums maybe they have a solution over there.

 

Does it happen with pandora, youtube music or any other music streaming app?

 

We dont have pandora here in Israel but it does still happen with youtube music.
I saw a forum on this site about a guy with an avalon having the same issue and fixed it by changing some bluetooth settings in the android developer settings but it didnt work in my case.

I have the same issue with my 2019 Camry and OnePlus 7T Pro on Android 10. I tried that developer options setting change as well and it did not help for me either. My phone is currently downloading an update to Android 11, so I'll install it and hope it fixes this. Will update you if it helped

 

Hopefully it helps, I have a oneplus 6t and looked at all the threads talking about changing the bluetooth settings but none of these changes helped.
Let me know if the update fixes it, in a few months the 6t should get android 11 too.

 

Update: Updating my phone to Android 11 fixed it, atleast for my 7T Pro! Song info and album art switches correctly with the song now.

This happened to me ages ago. for me it was a quick unplug of the phone and replug in a minute, which worked fine. Least you got it working with an android update.
