Anyone get notice of this over the weekend? Not that matters for me since I dont do car washes but curious if anyone had this completed and saw any difference post remedy or did I miss this thread on forum?

Description
The involved vehicles are equipped with Intelligent Clearance Sonar (ICS). Due to improper software programming in the ICS system, the ICS system may improperly activate when an involved vehicle enters certain types of carwash facilities and is placed into neutral. If the ICS system activates, the ICS system will exhibit warnings and the system may apply the brakes.

I do do car washes and this has happened to me. I plan to get this fixed at the dealership soon.

I got this done at my 10,000 service in october. Don't do the express car washes so never experienced it.

Thanks. Made appt for Friday, stupid they only do recall work during the week thats very inconvenient but seems to be case for every brand these days as experienced same during Takata recall.

Bought mine 2 weeks ago and went through a car wash without problems, but how can I see if this was performed on my car?

Call local toyota dealer and provide your Vin they can confirm

I turn all that off before we enter the wash. Zero issues and only takes a few seconds.

Never had that problem using the car washes but I had the dealer do the recall anyway. I haven’t noticed anything different.
