So on 86 4-runner (22re 5 speed) when i let out the clutch in netural it makes a werid soft grinding nosie... Its so quite in fact that I cant hear it with the heater on..
It doesnt seem to make the nosie when its in gear..or when the clutch is too the floor. just when the tranmission is in netural and the clutch is out, not ingaged. Could it be the throw out bearing? pilot bearing? or perhaps just an adjustment, because the pressure plate is rubbing a little..
Well its not something thats killing me.. I still drive it.. Just wounder what is out or going out in the clutch..
