I have a 2018 Rav4 and newly setup techstream with a cheap ebay mini-vci cable. It all seems to work except the most important function for me.
I get fatal error every time that i try to perform “data list” on “engine and ect”. “Data list” works for “tire pressure monitor” and other functionally. I tried 2 different mini-vci cables and i have same issue with both. Setup works with my 2006 camry. As such, this appears to either be a fault with rav4 or these cables don’t support 2018 rav4.
I am considering buying a vxdiag cable but dont want to throw another $100 on this if it isnt going to work either. Anyone have any further insight into this?
