well it does have roll cage. probably wont help much in a major side impact, but good if you ever started to roll and landed on the roof or sides.

 

Its stronger with the glass than the tin can bedsides, thats what I hope mine will look like in a couple years. The only reason its on a trailor is because its a race truck and not legal to drive in the US, it lives in a tortilla factory in Mexico

I'm seeing ALOT of major fabrication on the bed, fenders and pretty much the whole damn body has been replaced...

I'm betting hes replaced the engine too with maybe a tundra engine & tranny

From the pics it looks like he's replaced the seats but it still has the full interior.. i do see the roll cage behind the driver's seat.

i dont think the would want to add the weight of a v8 to that truck

I like desert runners better than crawlers, so IMO I think this one is cooler.
