The difference in the 19mm UR bar is that you use it in addition to the TRD or OEM bar. I have both & the addition of the UR bar was positive. It made the car more neutral without adding oversteer or any unwanted habits.

Actually the TRD bar is heavier and nearly 3x stiffer than OEM. The difference in handling is actually quite noticeable, much flatter in the twisties...but like any modification you do get used to it after a while.

There is a point at which too much sway bar stiffness can be not a good thing, single wheel bumps and throttle lift off over-steer get increasingly more sketchy the thicker you go. You have to find the right balance and TRD has found it for the majority of the daily drivers out there looking for a little more.

This is a FWD Corolla we're talking about, not a twitchy early second gen MR2. At no point will you encounter oversteer from lifting off the throttle at all.

Has the Progress bar even been released yet? It has a part number and all (62.2151, I memorized it) and was told by PT that it would be coming out. Nothing seems to have happened so far. I was going to wait for Progress to release theirs, but ended up with a TRD bar because I got a good deal on it. I even think that Progress makes the TRD one.

Progress has made little...progress on sway bars. They have been saying they would be coming out with one since at least 2009.

Hotchkis made a sway bar kit for the gen9 Corolla, I read somewhere that they made the TRD bar, not sure about the Gen10.

ordered my trd lowering springs, fsb, rsb today. should be in tommorow. just a tip if your gonna buy these, i found the best prices i could with shipping included on the net then called my dealers parts department and they beat the price by ten bucks sales tax included. i imagine most dealers will do the same and it's much less hassle and if there in the warehouse your dealer orders from you'll get them the next day.

Sorry for bumping this.

That lift-throttle oversteer is exactly what I am looking for in my car. I've grown so used to it in the Mirage over the years and events, that it feels strange NOT to have a little bit of extra rear-oomph!

Also, those H cars share alot with the Mitsubishis... We've even got one guy with a Kia 2.4L dohc that practically bolted in and wired up using a 1.8L sohc ecu/harness with a flash.
